If you're a musician who appears in images on this site and would like copies, there are several options, listed below.

 

 

But first a word of explanation. I'm a photographer, and jazz photography is one my specialisations because it enables me to combine two of my interests. I support jazz musicians by providing web images upon request, provided that there is attribution where the images are used. The web images come with some attribution text at the bottom. Please encourage me to maintain this service by retaining it. For the hi-res images you decide how best to provide the credit.

 

 

HOW TO IDENTIFY IMAGES

Please identify images using the "Image ID", which will look something like "Dx00_1234". It's part of the image title and is also in the right margin under "About this photo".

 

 

WEB IMAGES

If you would like a selection of web-sized images (up to 600 pixels) for your web site at no charge, please contact me or email me and let me know which ones. In return I ask for a link to jazz.cyberhalides.com. These images come with small attribution text at the bottom.

 

 

HI-RES IMAGES

If you would like high resolution versions (4-6Mb+) of selected images for publicity use, then contact me or email me for pricing. As these images are intended for publicity there are a few conditions attached:

 

1. That they're not used for stand-alone prints, such as would be framed or included in an album (as I sell prints);
   
   
2. Maximum size of any online images is 750Kb, e.g. in a press kit (as I wouldn't want the unmodified images online);
   
   
3. A credit to me where they're used.
   

 

Most images on this site are B&W, but colour versions of some images may be available for publicity where the colour is satisfactory (not always the case given the lighting in many venues).

 

 

PRINTS

I do a very nice line in fine art B&W prints on fine art paper, even if I do say so myself. Contact me or email me for sizes and pricing.
