"The passionate, sublime beauty of Ancient Chant colliding with the energy and instability of contemporary culture" said the program. Jazz? Perhaps not. But a beautiful, sensitive piece that ranged from whispered, delicate, barely audible sounds to the loud and vigorous collisions of cultures. Not easy to perform I'm imagine, but they pulled it off.
