The recently formed Quattro Club continued in a broadly similar vein to the Australian Art Orchestra the previous evening, by creating soundscapes which challenged the audience to remain alert and expect the unexpected. A quirky performance that proceeded in staccato bursts using instruments both conventional and unconventional. I'm not sure that the program notes describing Mirko and Joel as playing "woodwinds" quite captured the diversity of instruments, e.g. Mirko's melodica. A challenging performance in which everyone who lasted the distance will have taken away something quite different.
